2017 was been very exciting for us, thanks to the local businesses: Pizz'a Chicago, Hash House, Mama Mia's, The Olive Bar, Westside Grill and the Fish City that partnered with us for Teal Tuesday in September for National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and  helped us spread awareness!  Thanks to them and all of you for sharing signs and symptoms on your Facebook page, we have reached more people the we did in 2016!     ???
Early Detection saves lives, currently there are No early detection screening test for ovarian cancer. The Pap test does not detect ovarian cancer; it screens for cervical cancer.
Not only do researchers need to develop an early detection test for ovarian cancer, like mammograms for breast cancer and Pap tests for cervical cancer, women and medical professionals need to become better educated about ovarian cancer signs and symptoms, this we hope will reduce the number of woman diagnosed in the late stages and extend woman's lives.
